Wayne Johnson

Wayne Johnson, 72, of LaGrange, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 surrounded by his family at the V.A. Medical Center in Louisville. Born in Muhlenberg Co. September 25, 1940 he is the son of the late Arley & Erma Davis Johnson.
Wayne was a parts manager with Peterson GMC Kenworth, a professional musician and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by his 3 children, Nancy Worful (Tom), Shelly Fields (Brad) and Travis Johnson (Kelly), one brother, Gary Johnson, three sisters, Jan Roberts, Marcia Johnson and Karen Redner and six grandchildren, Jeremy, Madison, Summer, Kaitlyn, Drew & Reese. His former wife and "Sweet Pea" of 31 years , Edna M. Johnson, also survives.
A service celebrating Wayne's life will be held 1:00pm Friday, August 2, 2013 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. Visitation will be from 10:00 am Friday at the funeral home until service time.
Serving as casketbearers will be Jeremy Bayse, Brad Fields,Gary Johnson, Tom Worful, Chris Redner and Dillan McArthur.
