Virginia Rhodes

Virginia Davis Rhodes, 89, wife of Howard E. Rhodes, died Sunday January 5, 2014 at Arden Courts of Louisville. Born in Graham, Ky. May 12, 1924 she is the daughter of the late Claud B. & Ethel H. Davis and was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church.
Besides her husband of 61 years she is survived by her children, Nancy Rhodes Heathman of Lexington and Britt D. Rhodes, 3 grandchildren, Lacy Rhodes Heathman, Sarah Ann Heathman, both of Lexington and B. Davis Rhodes Jr..
Her sister-in-law, Helen W. Davis also survives. She was preceded in death by her brother, C.B. Davis.
A service celebrating Virginia's life will be held 10:00 am Thursday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road.
