Tammy Jean Davis

Tammy J. Davis, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on May 28, 2023. She was born on January 5, 1964, in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Marcella Hoots. Tammy was diagnosed with colon cancer and passed due to complications.

Tammy always lived her best life full of love and laughter. Tammy was a women who's love, strength and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. From the time Tammy was born, she embarked on a journey that would leave a mark on all our hearts. She dedicated herself to her family, cherishing each moment with joy that left a forever imprint on our lives. Tammy was a woman with remarkable strength and resilience, She faced life's challenges with grace and determination. Her vibrant spirit filled every room she walked in.

Tammy acquired her associates degree. She worked in sales for the User Friendly Phone Book for several years before obtaining her real estate license and pursuing her true passion in the real estate industry. Tammy joined Schuler Baurer as a real estate agent and thrived in her role. She had a genuine love for working with and assisting people, always going above and beyond to make sure their needs were met. 

Tammy's faith was important to her, she found solace and strength in her faith, relying on it during both joyful and challenging times. Tammy's faith provided her with a moral compass which guided her decisions, encouraging her to show compassion and love to others. Whether it was lending a helping hand to others or being a listening ear when needed, her faith motivated her to live a life of kindness and empathy. This provided her with hope, purpose and a deep sense of fulfillment.

Preceding Tammy in death was her mother, Marcella Hoots, her stepfather, Allen Hoots, her father, Earl Marsh, her sister Patricia Everman, and her brother Ricky Story.

Left to cherish Tammy's memory is her husband, Mark Davis, her son Tyler Vrissis, her daughter, Michele Reinhardt, her sister, Debbie Kelly, her sister, Tina Englhart, and her brother David Peck.

A funeral service to celebrate Tammy's life will be held Friday, June 9, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road Louisville, Kentucky 40241. Immediate family viewing will be 11a.m. to 12p.m. Followed by public viewing from 12p.m. to 4p.m. The service will be held 4p.m. to 5p.m. With viewing afterwards up until 7p.m.
