Steven Cooke

Steven Robert Cooke, 61, husband of Diane Cooke, passed away on December 17, 2016 surrounded by family. Steve was full of life, wild and a free spirit. He loved his family, his animals and his motorcycle.
He worked at Meijer and considered his co-workers family.
He was an avid traveler that visited Tahiti, Bora Bora and Hawaii numerous times. He loved music and attended many music festivals.
Besides his loving wife of 28 years he leaves to cherish his memory, stepdaughter, Heather Rountree (Scott), stepson, Jason Raisor (Kristie), brother, Kenneth Cooke (Beth) and several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Cooke (Linda) & Shirley Corwin Cooke and stepson, John Wesley Bell.
A service celebrating Steve's life will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. Visitation will be from 11:00 am Wednesday until service time.
Memorials are suggested to the Kentucky Humane Society.
