Ruth Klingenfus
September 4, 1922 — January 28, 2016
Klingenfus, Ruth, Ruth Guthrie Melone Klingenfus, 93, of Crestwood, passed away on Thursday, Januray 28, 2016, with her loving family around her.
She was a lifelong member of the Pewee Valley Presbyterian Church, Oldham County Homemakers, a graduate of Western Kentucky University, a longtime volunteer at Baptist Hospital, a founding member of the Oldham County History Center, a dedicated blood donor and a quilter.
The family thanks the caring staff at Baptist Hospital, LaGrange for the loving care Ruth received there.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Robert Klingenfus and her sister Ann Harrell.
She is survived by two sons, Robert L. (Angela) and Eddie C. Klingenfus (Debbie); two daughters, Shirley Ann Orr (Earl) and Sarah Ruth Roberts (Junie); 9 grandchildren, Angela Roberts Smith (Tommy), Amy Roberts Alvoy (Tim), Virginia Klingenfus Meiners (Matt), Daniel Klingenfus (MaryBeth), David Orr (Erin), Patrick Orr(Jodi), Jonathon Klingenfus (Katie), Allen Klingenfus, Racheal Klingenfus(Chris Williams); 11 Great grand Children; many loving nieces and nephews.
Burial in Louisville Memorial Garden East.
In lieu of flowers donations to Oldham County History Center or Pewee Valley Presbyterian Church.
