Roger Neal Embry

Roger N. Embry, 85, of Bedford, Kentucky, crossed over peacefully on March 8, 2024, after a short illness at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, on November 3, 1938, to Barney and Mattie Helen Embry. 

Roger was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He found great joy in being around his family.   He spent 3 years in the US Army.  He retired from Anaconda in LaGrange, Kentucky, after many years and began to enjoy his retirement with family and friends.   

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Mattie Helen Embry, spouse Alma Jean Embry,  Marilyn Embry, sister Betty Stepro, and brother Gene Embry.

Roger is survived by his daughters, Terri West (David), Connie Ulery (Steve), and Peggy Embry.  He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 10:00 to 1:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home with the funeral service following visitation at 1:00 pm.
