Hester, Robert L., 80, sunset was on Tuesday, June 30,2015 at 10:30 pm at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown KY.
The news of his death came as a shock to his family and friends. Mr. Hester sunrise began on April 19,1935 in Bladenboro, NC. He was the son to the late Eunice Smith and the late Albert Hayton Hester. Mr. Hester retired from the military after serving 20 years, and also retired from the Martin Luther King Postal Station after serving 27 years as Postmaster. Robert served the Masonic order for more than 50 years. Hester truly believed in and loved the Lord. He joined St. Stephen Baptist Church and served as a deacon.
Funeral at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at St. Stephen Baptist Church with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
