Pamela Eve Ludke, 75, of La Grange, was called home on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Pam was born on July 22, 1945 in Joplin, Missouri. Raised by her loving mother, Helen Walker, and
grandmother, Eva E. Walker, Pam found her gift for music and love for animals at an early age.  After graduating from Joplin Senior High School in 1963, she attended University of Arkansas where she earned her Bachelor of Music degree and was a proud member of Alpha Chi sorority.  Pam dedicated her life to her family, her friends, and her faith. Her daughters and grandchildren  were her pride and joy and her husband, Dave, was her partner in life and love.   After moving to La Grange over 30 years ago, Pam and Dave settled on their small farm. She
loved their home and especially enjoyed gardening and caring for their many animals. She had a special place in her heart for dogs and cats and spoiled her beloved pets rotten. Pam spent
many years singing with Derby City Choir and was a passionate and talented painter.  Pam's faith led her to her second family at Hope Lutheran Church. As a church member for over
20 years, she found solace in her relationship with the Lord and joy in the life long friendships she made.  Those who knew her will remember Pam as a compassionate, loving, quick witted and  intelligent woman who might have had just a little streak of stubbornness. Her strong will made  her a good friend, loyal supporter, devout Christian and fierce mother. She would give anything  for those she loved and stood strong for what she believed in. Pam is survived by her loving husband, David Ludke; daughters Gayle Mulligan (James) and
Debbie Gandy (Melissa); grandchildren Abigail Mulligan, Matthew Mulligan, Dianna Gandy and Sydney Gandy.
