Nancy Faye Boggs

Nancy Faye Boggs (Keith) passed away on Sunday, February 18th after an extended battle with cancer.

Born October 23, 1945, in Pound, Virginia to Milton and Grace Keith, she graduated from Pound High School in 1965 and went on to marry Douglas Boggs also from Pound, Virginia. Doug and Faye went on to move to Alexandria, Virginia before moving to Charlestown, Indiana and then Henryville, Indiana to raise their family. Faye worked for the L. Thorn Company, and then Essroc Cement Company. Once Doug retired from Ford Truck Plant and Faye retired from Essroc, they moved to LaGrange, Kentucky and then subsequently Okolona, Kentucky where they still live.

Faye was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family, cooking for them and sharing love and laughter. Her presence in the lives of all who loved her will be sorely missed.

Preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Grace (Morgan) Keith, her brothers Fred, Hollie, Larry, and Ronnie Keith as well as her sister Margaret Keith.

Faye is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Douglas Boggs Sr., two children, Pamela Theoharatos (Gregory), Douglas Boggs Jr. (Annamaria), three grandchildren – Tasos and Dimitrios Theoharatos (Allison), and Zoe Maria-Faye Boggs, two great grandchildren Grigorios and Anastasia Faye Theoharatos, her sisters Joanne Richards, Brenda Collins, Susie Collins, Eva Hubbard, her brother, Jerry Keith, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation and services will be Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, KY 40241. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 1:00PM. Funeral services, conducted by Brother Dave Woosley from Grace Baptist Church, will follow from 1:00PM – 2:00PM with interment immediately afterwards.
