Michele Medley

Michele Medley, 52, died Friday March 20, 2015 at Nortons Healthcare Pavilion, Louisville, KY, in Hospice care, after battling breast cancer for 4 years.
She was born September 29, 1962 in Louisville, KY to the late George and Lena Rose Medley. She was the youngest of 4 children.
She attended St. Athanasius Elementary and graduated from Moore High school class of 1980. She attended ITT Tech and graduated with an Associate's degree in Electronics. Her most recent employment was with BAE Systems (formally known as Naval Ordinance). She was an amazing mother that worked to support her boys. She would put others needs before her own by using sacrifice and hard work. She loved to be outside planting new life or inside painting a wall.
Survivors include two sons, Raleigh Williams (Paige), and Anthony Nichols, both of Louisville, KY and one grandchild. She is further survived by her sisters, Cathy McLauchlan (Will) of Brisbane Australia, Theresa Ulrich (Don) of Boston KY, a brother George Medley of Crestwood KY, 4 nieces, 8 nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, March 27 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. Louisville, KY 40241. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28 at St Bernadette Catholic Church, 6500 St Bernadette Ave, Prospect, KY 40059.
