Melvin T. Spencer, age 84, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Compton; daughter, Sandra Elaine Lowe; son, Terry Lee Spencer; and brothers, Earl and Doug Spencer.
Melvin is survived by 3 grandchildren, Trenia Spencer Upton (Dennis), Tammy and Terry Wayne; 3 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Shelby and Travis; and 1 great-great-grandchild, Hannah; and also his sister, Veda Bell McLaughlin; special family members, Martha, Chrissy, Adam, Justin and Toby; and a host of relatives and friends.
Interment at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, KY.
