Phyllis Sabol

After a life of joy and laughter, Phyllis Sabol, age 84, sadly left us on March 30, 2023.
 
Phyllis was well known and loved for her ready smile and fun-loving spirit. She loved and was loved by many, and brought light to every room she was in.
 
In life, she enjoyed singing in the kitchen with her sisters, working alongside her dear husband, John, and the occasional “chocolate ice cream cone.”
 
She is survived by her children, Johnny Blessing, Linda Lott, Billie Simmons, Gordon Sabol, and J.C. Sabol; sisters, Lois Ann Whelan, Janice Whelan and Mary Moran; and brothers, Fred Hughes and Bob Hughes. She will join her sisters, Carolyn and Kathleen, who passed before her.
 
Phyllis was adored by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends and will be missed by all.
 
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, 11601 Ballardsville Road.
