Mary "Helen" Reed, 92, wife of the late Claude W. Reed, attorney at law, passed away at Norton's Hosparus Center Friday April 25, 2014. She was born on May 26, 1921 in Goodlettsville, TN to the late Joseph and Mamie Berry Jones.
She is also preceded in death by 4 sisters and 1 brother.
She was a member of Broadway Baptist church.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Claudia and George Barnett along with her grandson, Claude Austin Barnett and sisters, Becky Coker and Doris Whittaker of Portland, TN.
A committal service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, KY 40241.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hosparus are appreciated.
