Madalyn Yates

Madalyn Hope Yates, 16, daughter of Eddie & Annis Crabtree Yates, went home to her Heavenly Father on Monday April 14, 2014. Madalyn was born in Louisville on August 8, 1997. She was a Junior at Male High School where she was active in ROTC having been Co-Captain of the Drill Team and Commander of the Color Guard. She had a strong passion for music having been accomplished in violin, cello and guitar. She also loved playing softball, soccer and worked at Papa Johns. Madalyn was also very active in her church, Woodland Baptist, having been a member for many years.
Besides her parents she is survived by her brother and sister, Sam and Kaitlyn Yates and her maternal grandfather, Charles Crabtree. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Edward & Linda Yates and her maternal grandmother, Marie Crabtree.
A service celebrating Madalyn's life will be held 10:00 am Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Southeast Christian Church. Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 10 til 8 on Friday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road.
