Lula Mae Jackson

With family, Lula Mae Jackson passed away to be with the Lord on May 31, 2024. Lula is proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Jackson. She is also proceeded in death by Katherine Meador, Jane Jewell, and Bobby Adcock. Lula is survived by her brother Larry Adcock (Gene) and her sister Ruby Pierce. Left behind to remember the moments they will hold close to their hearts are her children Dave Jackson (Paula), Lori Jackson, Benita Jackson (David). Her grandchildren Edward Benner, Gabe Schmidt, Nikkie Thomas, and David Smith. She is also survived by her step grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her best friend Louise Hogan who will continue to share Lula's love. Lula was born in Muhlenberg County to the late Sherman and Hallie Adcock. Lula in her free time enjoyed going to thrift stores, collecting dolls, and attending church. Most importantly Lula enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Pallbearers for Lula's celebration of life are Gabe Schmidt, Edward Benner, David Smith, Leroy Benner, Donald Crouch, Denver Tomblin, and Bonnie Westmoreland. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 6th, 12pm-7pm and Friday June 7th, 10am-1pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Funeral services will be held Friday June 7th at 1pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens, burial to follow.
