Larry Spivey

Larry J. Spivey, 75, husband of Gloria Spivey, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Georgetown Manor in Louisville. He was born in Louisville November 28, 1941 to the late Jude & Sylvia Ledford Spivey.
Larry was a retired Manager with Ceco Door Company in Tennessee and most recently had been a representative at the Ambulatory Care Department at University of Louisville Hospital. He was also a veteran having served in the United States Army.
Besides his wife of 49 years he leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Tina Phillips, brother, Terry Spivey (Gwen), granddaughter, Jessica Michelle Robinson and great grandson, James Thomas Robinson. Larry was preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle Cristi Spivey.
A service celebrating Larry's life will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. Visitation will be 11:00 am Saturday until service time.
