Karen Lynn Sullivan

Karen Lynn Sullivan, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on May 12, 2023.  She was born on June 24, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Gladys (Lanter) Birk.

Karen was a person that always lived her life to the fullest and the way she wanted to.  The center of Karen's world was her family, especially her grandbabies, and was always a Mama Bear when it came to them or her son, John.  Karen had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.  She always had a green thumb, and enjoyed caring for plants of all kinds.  Karen's laughter and love for life will be surely missed.

Preceding Karen in death was her mother, Gladys Birk; her brother, Carl Sullivan; and her son, Dillon Davis.

Left to cherish Karen's memory is her son, John Davis; her sister, Sharon Sullivan (John Cary); her granddaughters, Eleanor and Isabella Davis; and her nephew, Matthew Addams.

A funeral service to celebrate Karen's life will be held at 2PM on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes East, 11601 Ballardsville Road.  Friends may call on the family on Thursday from 10AM until service time at the funeral home.
