John Littrell

Littrell, John V., 86, loving husband to Doris Renfro Littrell, passed away on Friday May 1, 2015.
He was born to the late John Nelson and Antone Myers Littrell in Louisville on March 20, 1929.
He is also preceded in death by five siblings; Thelma Spies, George and Doug Littrell, LaVerne Watts, and Eulaine Fahey.
After 43 years John retired from Naval Ordnance, was an Army veteran but above all else he was a devoted husband, dad, and granddad.
Besides his wife of 64 years, he is survived by children, Mark Littrell, Donna Anderson, and Janine Vincent, along with five grandchildren; Krystal Littrell, Tara Littrell, Lauren Littrell, Dane "Skip" Anderson, and Delaney Hope Anderson and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 until time of service at the funeral home.
The family has requested memorial gifts be made to Kids Cancer Alliance, Inc., PO Box 24337, Louisville, KY 40224
