VAUGHT, JOE ROBERT, 86, of Greenville, SC, husband of the late Jo Ann Broyles Vaught, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014, at The Gardens.
Born in Somerset, KY, he was the son of the late Robert H. and Eva Gilmore Vaught. He was a retired electrician, U.S. Army veteran, member of the American Legion, IBEW Local 369, and a Mason for over 60 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Marilu Karpinsky (Ron); grandsons, Jay Karpinsky and Alan Karpinsky; brother, Frank "Bud" Vaught; sister, Virginia "Ginger" Lanier; two great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents and wife he was predeceased by a son, John Vaught; brother, William Vaught; and three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Wild, Dorothy Hall and Evelyn Keeney.
