Jim Clay Johnson

Jim Clay Johnson, 67, of Louisville KY, passed away on Friday, December 15^th, 2023.

                Jim was born January 30^th, 1956, to Jim Clay Johnson Sr. and Dorthy Cathern Johnson of Carrollton, KY.  He was a jack of many trades, having learned skills in farming, carpentry, and mechanics. He traveled the country countless times driving freight trucks for much of his adult life. Jim enjoyed the simpler things in life, finding joy in fishing, boating, fast cars, relaxing, and spending time with his family. On March 27, 1989, he welcomed his beloved daughter, Jamee, who he prioritized above all else in his life. 

                Jim is preceded in death by his father Jim Johnson Sr., and his sisters Janie Delores Garrett and April Lynn Hill.  He leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother Dorthy Johnson, brothers John William, Ernest Wayne, Raymond Eugene, and Joseph Shane, sister Rebecca Elizabeth, daughter Jamee Leigh Wilborne, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

                A memorial service and reception for all those wanting to pay their respects will be held at 1:30 pm, on Thursday December 21^st at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40241.
