He was born on May 3, 1946 in Oldham County, Kentucky to Joseph Lee and Mary F. Shanks Russell. Jerry retired from Belknap Hardware and was a member of Radiant Life Church of God.
Jerry was greeted in heaven by his wife, Sharon S. Russell; and his father, Joseph Lee Russell.
Here to carry on his memory are his mother, Mary F. Russell; daughter, Amanda J. Palma (Joe); son, Daniel W. Russell (Donna); grandchildren, Andrew Russell, Brandon Russell, Maya Palma, Caylee Russell, Joseph "Tony" Palma, and Breanna Palma; great grandchildren, Kenzie, Brayden, Cameron and JW; along with his siblings, Danny Russell, Joe Russell, Violet Greenwood and Carol Abell.
Burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
