Jane Essig

ESSIG, JANE KELLY, 78 passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Ottawa, IL, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Kelly and Inez Sutton. She was a graduate of the Ottawa Township High School in 1953 and graduated from Grinnell College in Iowa 1956. Jane is survived by her son Michael Evan Essig, family member Ron Kelly (Kathy), Tampico, IL; nieces and nephew, Betty Ferree (John), Alexandra, VA, Cynthia Rouse, Lexington, and Arthur Rouse (Mary), Lexington. Also, her family Arthur Rouse (Jo), Louisville; and her many loved friends.. Entombment will be private for the family at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Jane would have suggested contributions to the "The USA Swimming Foundation."
