Harriet Whitehouse

Whitehouse, Harriet Ann Holloway, 79, of Pewee Valley, KY was born 1 February 1936, in Buechel, KY and Baptized 29 September 1946 at Edenside Christian Church Louisville. She went to be with her Lord on 23 August 2015.

She attended Hikes Graded School and was a 1954 graduate of Fern Creek High School. She was employed by Jefferson Federal Savings & Loan in Buechel and Bank of Oldham County in Pewee Valley, KY. She served as treasurer of Pewee Valley Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker serving many years on the PTA. She enjoyed Southern Gospel and researching her family genealogy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Holloway Sr. and Alma Margaret Kunzman Holloway of Fern Creek, KY along with her siblings, Margaret Holloway of Fern Creek, Wallace B. Holloway of Fern Creek, Frank Holloway Jr. of Gulfport, FL, Patricia F. Kaiser Zettwoch of Jacksonville, FL; Juanita M. Kaiser of Fern Creek; John W. Holloway of Boynton Beach, FL; and her niece Linda C. Cassity of Glenwood, MD.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years Donald Ray Whitehouse; three children, Tamara (David) Fulkerson, Bradley Whitehouse, and Celeste (Raymond) New; seven grandchildren, Mallory, Griffin and Bennett Fulkerson, Crystal (Brandan) Summerlin, Scott Whitehouse and Tyler and Michael New; one great-grandchild, Carson Summerlin; all of Oldham County, KY; sisters-in-law, Lillian Holloway of Gulfport, FL and Mae Holloway of Boynton Beach, FL; and cousin Kenneth (Doris) Kunzman of Shreveport, LA. She also dearly loved her many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service: 12:30 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015, Pewee Valley Presbyterian Church with interment at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Memorial Fund at Pewee Valley Presbyterian Church or to the charity of your own choosing.
