Ghennady Chernavski

Ghennady Chernavski, 63, of Louisville, husband of Olga Antropova, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Norton Hospital. He was born January 5, 1954 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan the son of Adelya Zhurokovskaya and the late Boris Chernavski. Ghennady was a longtime educator with JCPS System and a member at Saint Frances of Rome Church.
Besides his wife he is survived by 2 daughters, Olga Pinkston (Bradley) and Mariya Salyer (Jerry), 2 sons, Felix Cherny (Jenya) and Ilya Chernavski (Stephanie). 8 grandchildren, Evan, Anna, Daniel, Sofia, Elizabeth, Samuel, Alina and Viktor also survive.
A service celebrating Ghennady's life will be held 11:00 am Friday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East. Friends may visit starting at 10:00 am Friday at the funeral home.
