Gail Littrell

November 4, 1953 — February 12, 2014

Gail T. Littrell, 60, of Crestwood, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 while at Baptist Health Louisville.
She was born on November 4, 1953 in Honolulu, HI to the late George and Lorraine Ontai Turner. Gail was a Transcriptionist for Underwriters Safety and Claims, a member of the Heart of Fire Church, NRA, and American Legion Zachary Taylor Post 180.
Gail had a big heart, she loved helping people and volunteering; in November of 2013 she was presented with the Humanitarian Award from Metro Louisville for her work with cancer awareness. She will also be remembered by friends and family as a patriot who loved the USA and its citizens.
Most of all Gail was an adoring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Along with her parents; her sister, Taffy Kamai; and brother, Terry Turner has preceded her in death.
Left to carry on her beautiful memory are her husband, Mark Littrell; daughters, Diana Kramer (Pat) and Kelli Kirchner (Shane); step daughters, Krystal Lynn Littrell, Tara Allison Littrell, and Lauren Lantz Littrell; 13 grandchildren; sister, Gwen Rowe; Brothers, Darrell Turner and Gary Turner; along with a host of other family and friends who loved her very much.
A service celebrating Gail's life will be 6 pm Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road. Visitation will be 1 pm until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
