Frances Hollander

Frances Hutchison Hollander, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on December
23, 2023.
Frances was born December 6, 1934 in Evening Shade, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the
late Bryan Hutchison and Lela King Hutchison. Siblings of Rex, Bryan Jr, Bobbie Broadaway,
Bill, and Joe T. She completed high school and trade school in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Frances
married her late husband John Rodgers Hollander in 1954. During their marriage they lived in
California, Texas, Florida then moved to Louisville, Kentucky in 1973 as John was recruited by
Ollie Trolly’s corporate office.
Frances and John were dedicated members of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville, where
they served in many capacities. She loved cooking, playing card games, dominoes and working
puzzles. She volunteered at her children’s schools and athletic programs. It gave her great joy to
watch and support her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren competing in many
athletic events.
While in Louisville, she worked for multiple employers in the direct mail business. She
ultimately became part owner of Corporate Mailing Concepts where she worked diligently for 10
years before retiring.
Frances was a dedicated wife and mother of three children Carin Wuchterl (Dean), John Bryan
Hollander (Cathy), Suzette Kimbell (Neal), seven grandchildren Kyle Wuchterl (Jessica),
Lindsay Combest (Steven), Natalie Ivory (Jeff), Sarah Zoeller (Max), Neal Allen Kimbell
(Remsing), Emily Bowling (Robert). Lee Kimbell (Shae), nine great-grandchildren, and fourteen
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, John
Rodgers Hollander and her five siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, December 29 th at Treyton Oak Towers,
211 W. Oak Street, Louisville, KY 40203.
The family request that donations be made in honor to Walnut Street Baptist Church, 1143 South
3rd Street, Louisville, KY 40203 and Hosparus Health 6200 Dutchmans Lane, Louisville 40205
and Treyton Oak Tower.
