Elena Emma Nobile

Elena Emma Nobile, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on June 24th, 2023 at the age of 90.

Elena was born on February 20th, 1933 in Rosario, Argentina to Jose Martinelli and Emma Pisanni Martinelli. Elena left school at a young age to work as a seamstress to support her family. She had a natural talent for sewing and developed her skills over time. Elena became an exceptional seamstress who worked not only to tailor clothes but also made entire outfits from scratch. And although she left Argentina in 1969, she never forgot her roots and remained a die-hard, dyed in the wool Argentinian national soccer fan for her entire life, cheering La Albiceleste to all three of their world cup victories.  

Elena will be missed by her son George Nobile (Darcy); grandchildren Ian, Jaime (Blake), Joshua (Alyssa), and Wei; great-grandchildren Liam and Peter; as well as countless relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by loving husband of over  50 years, Oscar Nobile; her parents; and her eight brothers and sisters: Arturo, Jose, Adolfo, Gino, Julio, Lina, Victoria and Maria.

Her services will be held on June 29th , 2023 at New Life Church located at 3402 Goose Creek Rd in Manor Creek in Kentucky. The visitation will start at 11 AM followed by the funeral service at 1 PM.

Elena's warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who had the pleasure of spending time in her company.
