Dorothy Lucas

Dorothy Beatrice Lucas, age 89 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014. She was a member of Watkins United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer W. Lucas; her son, James Douglas "Jim" Lucas, Sr.; her daughter, Mary A. Arabie; and several siblings.

Mrs. Lucas is survived by her son, Mark Lucas (Rhonda); grandchildren, John Lucas, James Douglas "Jay" Lucas, Jr.; Elizabeth Lucas, Ray Arabie, Jr., Patrick Arabie, Frank Arabie, Sean Arabie and Michael Lucas; great-grandsons, Justin and Brandon Ross, Mason Arabie, Bentley Arabie, Patrick Arabie, Jr., Tyler Arabie, Zain Arabie and Claysen McNabb; great-granddaughter, Emma Arabie; great-great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Ross; daughter-in-law, Brenda Lucas. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 10am Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, 11601 Ballardsville Road with Rev. Errol Archerson officiating.
