Deborah Cays

Deborah P. "Debbie" Cays, 60, wife of Lonnie Cays, died Tuesday June 26, 2018 at her residence with her family at her side after a long illness. She was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana December 2, 1957 the daughter of Janice Sexton Poteet and the late Ralph Poteet. Debbie had been a paralegal with Perkins & Associates for over 20 years. Her great loves in life were baking for her grandchildren, traveling in the RV, camping, fishing and spending time at the beach.
Besides her mother and husband of 42 years she is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Wright (Brian) and Stacie Cays McCubbins (Joey Faith), her sister, Lana Morris (Carl) and grandchildren, Caysey, Connor, Nolan, Mason, Emmalyn , nephew, Tyler Morris, mother-in-law, Mary Goff (Gene) and her beloved pets, Bentlie and Buddie. She will also be greatly missed by her Chimney Rock Campground family.
