Charles August Hauser Jr. (90) of Louisville wen to be with his heavenly father on March 19th, 2022.
He was born October 4th, 1931 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the son of Charles August Hauser and Dorothy Goss Hauser.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet R. Melling Hauser and his second wife, Anna Ruth Miller Hauser. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Ann Hauser Soderblom.
Charles graduated from Altoona High School and the University of Pittsburgh where he earned his degree in Business Administration. He received a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Theology from Grace Theological Seminary.
Charles taught Theology and Bible Exposition at Buffalo Bible Institute (Buffalo, NY), San Francisco Conservative Baptist Seminary, Denver Baptist Bible College and Seminary and Central Baptist Seminary (Minneapolis, Minnesota).
He is survived by one niece, Deb Wilson of Livonia, Michigan. He is also survived by 3 step sons; Walter T. Miller (Mary) of Sandy, UT, Gordon P. Miller (Anna) of Littleton, CO and John M. Miller (Vicki) of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Andrew, Kathryn, Timothy, Michael, Stephanie, Brian, Staci and Matthew. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; Annabelle, Mason, Theodore, Lincoln, Lily, Quinn and Penelope.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 28th, 2022, at the Pewee Valley Baptist Church, 331 Ash Ave., Pewee Valley, KY 40056. Visitation will be Sunday, March 27th from 2:30 – 4:00 PM at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, KY 40241.
In lieu of customary expressions of sympathy, memorial gifts may be directed to Central Baptist Seminary, 900 Forestview Lane North, Plymouth, MN 55441 or to Pewee Valley Baptist Church, 331 Ash Ave., Pewee Valley, KY 40056.
