September 7, 1934 — January 20, 2024

Cecelia Rosenbaum, lovingly known as Cecelia Cunningham during her maiden years, was a remarkable woman whose life was filled with love, joy, and a passion for bowling. She passed away on January 20, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky, the place where she was born on September 7, 1934. She touched the lives of many through her dedicated career and her warm personality.

For over a decade, Cecelia worked at Ten Pin Lanes and shared her love of bowling with all who visited her service desk. Her genuine enthusiasm for the sport was infectious, and she took great pleasure in welcoming and assisting bowlers of all ages and skill levels. She was an active member of multiple bowling leagues including the Lady's Classic League and the Thursday 3x2 Mixed League. Spending time with her family brought her immense happiness and fulfillment. Nothing brought a brighter smile to her face than being surrounded by her loved ones, especially her grandchildren.

Cecelia was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard Sr., whom she cherished throughout their 70 year journey together. She is survived by their children Richard (Helen), Gary (Nancy), Susan, and Nancy (Kenny, now deceased), who carry on their mother's legacy with pride. Additionally, she leaves behind nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren who will forever remember their loving grandmother's warmth and adoration.

Born to Guthrie Cunningham Sr. and Myrtle Bishop Cunningham in Louisville, Kentucky, Cecelia grew up alongside her brothers Guthrie Jr., Richard Paul, and sister Vivian.
