Brenda Strause

Brenda Joyce Strause, 74, of Crestwood, wife of James Strause, passed away on Tuesday May 4, 2021 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville.  She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 8, 1947, the daughter of the late William and Antoinette Smith.  Brenda enjoyed Saddlebred horses and spending time with her family.  Besides her loving husband of 53 years, James, she is survived by her daughter, Marcia Conroy Strause, son, James Matthew Strause Jr. (Catie Parman), sisters, Betty Dysart, Babs Steinbach (Jim), Bernice Scherr (Ed), and Belinda Smith, grandchildren, Ian, Bailey and Abigail Strause, Caden Parman, Micayla and Trent Smith.  She is preceded in death by her grandson, Gunnar.
