Boyd Wach

October 28, 1940 — February 29, 2016

Boyd "Gene" Eugene Wach, age 75, of Crestwood, formerly of Denver Colorado returned to his Heavenly Father on February 29, 2016.

Brother Wach worked in the aviation industry for over fifty years, and served in the United States Army for seven years. He was a member of the Crestwood 2nd Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions of responsibility including a member of the High Council, Branch Presidency, Louisville, KY Temple Presidency, Temple Sealer, Young Men Advisor, and faithful Home Teacher,

Among those who preceded him in death include his parents, Boyd and Elva Irene "Jean" Wach; step-mother, Sybil Wach; and brothers, Jack Wach, Mike Wach.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of fifty-six years, DeAnn Losee Wach; children, Katherine Kasmir, Sandra Day (Arthur), Karen Tout (David), Jody Blomquist (Robert), Kenneth Eugene Wach (Beatriz), Monica Zierenberg (Rod), Anthony Glen Wach (Angie), Terry Michael Wach(Randy-Lynne), David Boyd Wach (Lisa), Rebecca King (Jeff); fifty-three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Julian (Tim); and brother, Richard Clawson.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6401 Westwind Way, Crestwood, KY 40014 with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 5pm until 8pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Perpetual Education Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
