Jones, Ann Marie (Koehler-Arnold), 79, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014.
Mrs. Jones was born February 20, 1935 to the late Sigmund and Gesina (Crone) Koehler.
She was a lifelong resident of Louisville, Kentucky and Shepherdsville, Kentucky and graduated from Holy Rosary Academy. Mrs. Jones was a member of the former St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hillview where she served on the Board of Directors and was very active with the church picnics. She delivered Holy Communion to the church shut-ins until she herself became a shut-in. Mrs. Jones retired from Enro Shirt Company as a aver seamstress on January 14, 1994 after 24 years of service. She also did alterations in her home after her retirement. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonel, the NCHA/ Bullitt Campers and loved camping.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Arnold, Rolland Leatherman and Jim Jones; son, Howie Arnold; daughter, Cindy Arnold-Balasco; daughter-in-law, Tammy Arnold and brothers, Gene and Joe Koehler.
She is survived by her sons, Mike (Sun) of Symrna, TN, Gary and Neal (Barry Hutton) of Louisville; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Paul Koehler (Angela) of Louisville, Charles Koehler (Chang) of Navarre, FL; sisters, Rita Grider (Bill), Rose Welker of Louisville and Mary Ferguson (Butch) of McDaniel, KY; sister-in-laws, Marilyn Koehler of Mt. Washington, KY, Dorothy Kinzer (Dutch) and Nancy Arnold of Louisville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 am on Monday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) use John Harper entrance, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst.
Expressions of sympathy may be given to Hosparus and Metropolitan Community Church of Louisville.
