Timothy George Hollinden

Tribute

Timothy George Hollinden of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the age of 80. Tim was born on January 24, 1941 to the late Cyril and Germaine Hollinden. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and had a successful career as an architectural draftsman. In his free time, Tim enjoyed playing golf, visiting the beach with his family, working in his yard and woodworking. He was also an avid fan of the Louisville Cardinals. Tim was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church for many years and was very active with the St. Aloysius Men’s Club. He was most recently a parishioner at Epiphany Catholic Church in Anchorage.

Tim is survived by his sons, Tim (Angie) Hollinden and Nick (Meredith) Hollinden; grandchildren, TJ (Erin), Tera (Jenn), Cole and Callie; great-grandchildren, Carter, Kyson and Ryan; sister, Pam (Steve) Evans; and brother, Cyril “Bob” (Jeanette) Hollinden. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donnie Hollinden.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 9 am until 1:00 pm with a Memorial Service from 11-11:30 am, all at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40241. If desired, memorial donations may be made in Tim’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
