Kenneth Cooper

Kenneth Lee Cooper, 75, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022. He was born on June 11, 1947, in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Claudie Edwin and Bertha May Foster Cooper. Ken was a retired sales manager in the automotive aftermarket industry. He was an avid Pontiac fan and also enjoyed drag racing and NASCAR. He was a proud member of the Big Blue Nation. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Ken is survived by his wife, Doris Oatts Cooper; children, Shawn Lanae Cooper and Vanessa Kendria Cates (Wes); grandchildren, Cody Wayne Mattingly, Dustin Pierce Mattingly, Briley Kendall Cates and Avery Elyse Cates; siblings, Katy York, Terry Cooper, and Mike Cooper.

Per the family’s request, visitation and funeral services for Ken will be private.

Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral East is in charge of arrangements.
