Gladys Birk

Gladys F. “Boots” Birk of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Bertha Lanter; her son, Carl R. Sullivan; grandson, Dillon Davis; and siblings, Helen Taylor, Saydee Buchanan, Ricky Lanter, Johnny Lanter, Percy Lanter, Rusty Lanter, Jerry Lanter, and Tommy Hiley. Gladys is survived by her daughters, Karen Sullivan and Sharon Sullivan (John Cary); grandsons, Matt (Shelby) Addams and John (Kristina) Davis, great-granddaughters, Eleanor and Isabella Davis; brother, Sammy Lanter; also, many loving nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Allen Ray Buchanan. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 10 am until the Funeral Service at 2 pm, all at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, KY 40241. Burial will immediately follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
