Ethel Martin Pierce, 96, of Louisville, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, May 20, 2016. She was born in Anchorage, KY on October 22, 1919, daughter of the late Paul and Ruth Maddox Martin. Ethel served as the secretary to the Principal of Moore High School. She was a member of Okolona Christian Church and the church's Young at Heart. For many years, she served as a Girl Scout Leader.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ray E. Pierce.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Steve Pierce (Greg Gould), Donna Hilbert (Ben) and Sue Stasie (Ron); five grandchildren, Karey Neville, Jennifer Williams, Jackie O'Quinn, Cindy Radney and Becca Almy; seven greatgrandchildren and a special cousin, Mary Louise Burton.
Burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Okolona Christian Church.
