Donna Nation

Donna Gayle Nation (Speer) of Simpsonville, Kentucky passed away on February 15, 2022 at the age of 74. Donna was a homemaker that cared for her family very lovingly through the years. She will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her. Donna is survived by her daughter, Theresa (Joe) Payton; grandchildren, Jessie and Alexandria; and sisters, Phyllis McMahan, Linda Manley, Judith (D.L.) Craig, Norma Cheatham, Nancy (Robert) Cheatham, and Virginia “Alice” Rawlins. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 56 years, Jessie Ray Nation. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 11 am until the Funeral Service at 1 pm, all at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home, 11601 Ballardsville Rd., Louisville, KY 40241. Burial to immediately follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
