Phillip Haas

Phillip Haas, age 73 of Louisville, passed away on January 6, 2023.

Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, Othmar and Margaret Haas; his daughter Sarah Elizabeth Haas; and his ex-wife Judy Haas. Here to carry on his memory is his son, David Haas (Wendy); his siblings Rita Novitski (Jim), Donald Martin Haas (Anna), Susan Sanders (David Bruce), and Janet Vandivier (John); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Phillip graduated from Ahrens High School and went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Marines for two tours to Vietnam. He retired from General Electric after working for over 46 years. Phillip loved to fish and collect items, but especially cars and tractors. He was an active member of VFW post 8639.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville KY 40241. A memorial visitation will follow in Phillip’s honor from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the D.A.V.
