Patti M. Davis

Patti Moore Davis passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Baptist East Hospital. She was born November 8, 1959 in Shelby County, Kentucky to the late Gene and Betty Moore. She was preceded in death by her brothers David and Darrell Moore, and mother in law Bonnie Davis. Patti is survived by her husband of 40 years, Glenn Davis; children, Jennifer Davis (Jon) and Katherine Winchell (Zach); and granddaughter Kennedy. She is also survived by two sisters, Sandi Magers of Wasilla, Alaska and Robin Collier (Curt) of La Grange, Kentucky; her aunts Marian Cook and Ann Demaree of Charleston, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Patti attended Watterson College in 1978-1980 and graduated with an Associate Degree in Computer Programming. She was employed in medical billing for various physician groups over the years including Baptist Physician Services as Department Secretary and at EMBS Medical billing as a financial counselor. 

Patti loved being a dance mom and dance grandma at Diane Moore Dance Academy, where her youngest daughter has been a dancer and instructor since 1994. Patti especially loved seeing her granddaughter Kennedy become a dance student. Patti was known at the studio for attending every performance and capturing beautiful dance pictures for all the other moms to share. 

Patti was the family archivist and always took photos to capture the family’s memories. She was a history enthusiast, especially of the Kennedy Family. She always took care to make her loved ones feel special and remembered. She was the kindest person we all knew and will be greatly missed!
